“Your house is like a shell, each unique to its owner and environment”
Nancy A. Lovas, RA, is an award-winning architect with over three decades of experience. She is LEED-Accredited and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Her professional career started with the noted American classicist Allan Greenberg. During her ten years with Mr. Greenberg, her passion for classical architecture was shaped and became the foundation for her professional focus. Her subsequent work with the New York City firm of Ferguson, Shamamian & Rattner honed her practice of classical architecture and further refined her approach to blending historical inspiration and contemporary function.
Lovas Architects, LLC, established in 2003, is an independent practice offering architectural and design services for a broad range of projects, including restorations, additions, and new construction. Rooted in the pursuit of historic preservation and classical-styled architecture, we partner with clients to define the unique inspiration for each project. Drawing from the site’s landscape and integrating the client's program, we identify all potential solutions and provide a finished product that is seamless in form and practical in function. The firm’s small size enables us to interpret our clients’ desires through direct participation and a hands-on approach in all phases of the design and construction process. At Lovas Architects, we are committed to providing each project, large or small, with the utmost personal, specialized attention.
